Importing Object Definitions from the Object Dictionary

Definitions are imported from Z50-type files. The number of definitions to be imported is displayed under the Select All Button. If definition files exist, they are selected by default to be imported into the database system. If no files exist, the Select All and Clear All buttons are unavailable.

To disable the importation of definitions, the developer can de-select the definitions by clicking the Clear All button. The message ‘0 Object Definition(s) selected’ is displayed. Definitions can be re-selected by clicking the Select All button.

The Use Existing File Number option can be used to import data objects with the same file number.
