The Screen Painter (commonly referred to as the "painter") is a built-in facility for the layout and design of Zim application windows, menus, forms, and display object types, all of which are used to construct the end-user interface for Zim applications. Using the painter's layout mode, forms and displays can be designed in the context of the window (and optionally, an associated menu), in which they are presented to the application end-user. A test mode for verifying the dynamic behavior of your objects is also incorporated into the painter. The painter updates the Zim Data Dictionary with the definitions of the objects being designed.
