The Customize Toggle Button Values dialog can be displayed by clicking on the Customize push button in the Edit Toggle Button dialog. If this push button is not available, select the Values / Custom radio button first. This dialog presents the attributes of a toggle button form field related to data type and state values. The dialog consists of one section, Button Values.
This section presents the data type and state value attributes of a toggle button form field. The field Button Type displays the type of toggle button which has been selected.
| Data Type | This list box determines the data type of the toggle button. The available values are "alphanumeric" and "numeric". Refer to Form Field Data Types for a more detailed description of the characteristics of the supported data type values. |
| Off State Value | This field contains the value that the toggle button delivers when it is in the Off state. |
| On State Value | This field contains the value that the toggle button delivers when it is in the On state. |
| On State Validation Rule | This field contains the validation rule for determining if a value assigned to the toggle button form field causes it to be displayed in the On state. This field can be used to select multiple values which, when assigned to the toggle button form field under Zim program control, causes the toggle button to be displayed in the On state. |
| Null State Value | If available, this field contains the value that the toggle button delivers when it is in the Null state. |
| Close | This push button performs any required data validation, records (but does not commit) any changes that were made in this dialog, and returns to the Edit Toggle Button dialog. |
| Cancel | This push button discards any changes that were made in this dialog and returns to the Edit Toggle Button dialog. |
| Help | This push button invokes the Zim Help facility, initially displaying the section entitled Customize Toggle Button Values dialog (this section). |
