The editing features of the Screen Painter enable you to modify the many attributes assigned to each object. An object's attributes affect its appearance and behavior.
The methods available to access the Painter's edit features are
Note: If You Don't Have A Mouse . . .
If an object has been selected, position the pointer over the object and press F8.
If an object has been selected, using EDIT-ATTRIBUTES also works without a mouse.
If an object has been selected, press the Ctrl key sequence defined in ZIMTCAP. Then press Enter.
Once you have accessed the edit feature for an object, one or more windows appear. The windows are specific to the type of object you are editing and display information about the object's attributes.
Change the attributes as desired, then select the OK button to apply the changes to your object (or the Cancel button to discard the changes). If you change appearance attributes and select OK, the object is displayed with the new attributes.
