The IMPORT option (accessed from the FILE menu) is used to import existing form fields or forms into the screen currently being painted. The IMPORT option offers several choices. You can import an existing form field by selecting a form field from a list and indicating the form into which you wish to import it. A copy of the form field is then made in the target form.
Another option is to import an entire form. If you used FORM DEFINE to access the Screen Painter, the form fields in the source form are imported as new fields into the form being painted. If you used DISPLAY DEFINE to access the Screen Painter, the source is imported as a form within the display.
