Certain objects can be assigned a border. First, select the objects whose border you wish to adjust. Pull down the STYLE menu and choose the BORDER option. You can choose from NO BORDER, BORDER, SHADOW, or DEFAULT.
DEFAULT sets the form field to its default border status (e.g., by default, labels have no border, while entry fields do have a border).
SHADOW is available only for button objects display mode and this option is ignored in MS-Windows.
If an object's size is less than 3 rows by 3 columns, a border is not visible; in the MS-Windows environment, the border is always visible.
If no objects are selected when you access the style menu, your selections for color, and border define defaults that are to be applied to all objects that are subsequently added. For example, if you choose "red" as the default fill color, the fill color of all objects added thereafter is red.
