The Message Bar

The message bar appears at the bottom of the layout screen underneath both the presentation area the structure chart. It contains two sections: message and cursor position. The message section provides a description of the current operation and the cursor position section displays the current cursor coordinates in the units selected in the Coordinates section of the Drawing Preferences dialog. The message bar can be hidden or shown by selecting the Message bar item from the View menu. The cursor position information can be hidden or shown by selecting the Cursor position item from the View menu.
