The View Menu

The items in the View menu relate to which components of the Screen Painter's layout mode are visible and the zoom factor for the structure chart.

Menu Items

Presentation

If checked, the presentation area is displayed. Otherwise, it does not.

Structure

If checked, the structure chart is displayed. Otherwise, it does not.

Message bar

If checked, the message bar is displayed. Otherwise, it does not.

Tool bar

If checked, the tool bar is displayed. Otherwise, it does not.

Gallery

If checked, the object gallery is displayed. Otherwise, it does not.

Gallery names

If checked, the names of the objects in the object gallery are displayed. Otherwise, they do not.

Status bar

If checked, the status bar is displayed. Otherwise, it does not.

Cursor position

If checked, the current cursor position is displayed in the message bar. Otherwise, it does not.

Grid

This item presents a sub-menu list of the items "Absolute", "Relative" and "None". If "None" is selected, the grid is not displayed. If "Absolute" is selected, the grid is displayed such that grid points are aligned relative to the (0,0) (top-left most) position of the presentation area. If "Relative" is selected, the grid is displayed such that grid points are aligned relative to the (0,0) (top-left most) position of each object which can own other objects. The grid density is defined in the Grid section of the Drawing Preferences dialog.

100% size

If checked, the structure chart is re-displayed with each object icon sized at 100% of the size of the icon in the object gallery.

75% size

If checked, the structure chart is re-displayed with each object icon sized at 75% of the size of the icon in the object gallery.

50% size

If checked, the structure chart is re-displayed with each object icon sized at 50% of the size of the icon in the object gallery.

25% size

If checked, the structure chart is re-displayed with each object icon sized at 25% of the size of the icon in the object gallery.
