Browsing Databases

The Databases Explorer displays all databases managed by the selected instance of Zim Server. Each database is represented by an expandable node connected to the Databases node

If the Database path is the same as an existing database, the following error message appears: Database creation failed: DatabaseExists

Adding an Existing Database

 

There is a single node for each database in the treeview. When the database node is expanded, the following items become available:

 

Databases are listed in zimdb.zim

language.zim

This utility substitutes zimlang.exe and zimlangw.exe previously available in Zim 7.x

 

Zim Configuration

zimconfig.zim

 

 

Users

Display a table recognized users for the selected database. Users ZIM and super exist in every database.
