Scatter Table Size

This configuration option is currently ignored and has no effect in Zim Server configuration. It will be removed in future releases.

scatter table size nn

This an abstract number to speed up the search for a specific block of data in memory.

Bigger numbers produce faster searches in memory specially for large databases, but requires more memory.

Ideally, the number nn set to 100 is better suited for small and medium size databases whereas 1000 (or greater) is a very good number for larger databases.

Valid Settings

A number from 100 to 10000.
