Importing Meta Objects Created with the Application Designer

Meta Objects are imported from CMA type files. The number of Meta Objects to be imported is displayed under the Select All button. If Meta Object files exist, they are selected by default to be imported into the database system. If no files exist, the Select All and Clear All buttons are unavailable.

To disable the importation of Meta Objects, the developer can de-select Meta Objects by clicking the Clear All button. The message ‘0 Meta Object(s) selected’ is displayed. Meta Objects can be re-selected by clicking the Select All button.

Existing Meta Objects are deleted by default before importation. However, to keep Meta Objects, select the Keep option in the Existing Meta Objects frame.
