Setting the backscreen size fixed option to yes makes the backscreen a fixed border window of 25 by 80. If this option is selected, the backscreen position and size are not saved at the end of a session. The close, minimize and maximize boxes, and the system menu are also not available. Also, the backscreen menu defaults to being off unless the backscreen menu option is set to 1 in the Zim section of the registry.
Setting the backscreen size fixed option to no ensures that the backscreen functions normally.
